Enterprise Data Solutions Lead

SUMMARY:

Responsible for leading the organization's AI, data, and business systems integration initiatives. This role develops and maintains the framework that enables employees to securely access and leverage enterprise data across departments. The position evaluates business requirements, identifies opportunities for automation and AI-enabled solutions, and develops recommendations for executive leadership. The role works closely with business leaders, IT resources, and third-party partners to establish scalable data architecture, system integrations, and AI capabilities. Hands-on participation in design, implementation, and support of solutions is required as is supporting other business critical applications such as the ERP system.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain the organization's AI and enterprise data strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, reporting, decision-making, and productivity through AI-enabled solutions.
  • Develop recommendations and business cases for executive leadership regarding AI, data, analytics, and integration initiatives based on business requirements gathered.
  • Design and maintain an enterprise data framework that supports reporting, analytics, automation, and AI applications.
  • Develop standards for data governance, data quality, data accessibility, and security.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement AI, analytics, and business intelligence tools.
  • Identify requirements for the team and communicate with the manager.
  • Develop integration strategies between ERP, manufacturing, CRM, and other business systems.
  • Design solutions that enable data sharing between cloud-based and on-premise applications.
  • Support integration of systems with limited or no API capabilities through middleware, data replication, file-based integration, or other appropriate technologies.
  • Lead AI and data-related projects, including vendor coordination, implementation planning, testing, and deployment.
  • Create and maintain enterprise data models, documentation, standards, and roadmaps.
  • Monitor emerging AI and data technologies and recommend solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Support training and adoption efforts for new AI, reporting, and data solutions.
  • Support ERP as a backup.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise applications, data architecture, business intelligence, systems integration, or related disciplines
  • Experience working with ERP systems and business-critical applications
  • Experience developing enterprise data solutions and integration strategies
  • Understanding of AI technologies, analytics platforms, and enterprise data management principles
  • Experience gathering business requirements and presenting recommendations to leadership
  • Strong project management, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience integrating cloud and on-premise systems
  • Experience with integration platforms such as Infor ION, Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or similar technologies preferred
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-site business environments preferred
