Retail Sales Manager – Home Improvement

SUMMARY:

Manages and represents the large home improvement retailers for all sales activities for Intermatic.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Manage the sales of the US Home Improvement Channel & the Canadian Retail Landscape.
  • Manage the sales of the North American Home Improvement Channels.
  • Analyzes sales statistics and trends to determine sales opportunities across all retail accounts.
  • Develops and implements sales plans to accommodate Intermatic goals.
  • Actively support budgeting, reporting, and other critical portfolio management activities to ensure we are meeting our partner commitments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business goals (Marketing, Supply Chain, Technology, Product Line, etc).
  • Flexibility to contribute at all levels of the business from high level strategy to the day-to-day hands-on operations.
  • Be a retail ambassador, demonstrating an enthusiasm to educate cross functional partners on the state of the Retail Home Improvement business in North America.
  • Prepares and presents periodic sales presentations showing sales attainment and potential sales volume.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education requirement is high school graduate or equivalent with a college degree preferred and proven sales skills.


PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to sit for long periods at a time, some walking and standing in an Office environment. Overnight travel is involved in this position.
