Light Sensor Controllers

The LM LightMaster Series is a control system that operates on ambient light level sensing. There are two components to the basic LightMaster offering:

1. 2 channel lighting controller and one ambient light sensor, which come packaged in either an indoor or outdoor enclosure.
2. Individual components are available to customize the LightMaster to fit your application.

The LightMaster Series is an affordable alternative to expensive or unreliable lighting controls. It’s a cost effective solution for providing additional light level control beyond the typical timer or photo control. It can be added to an existing timer.

Energy Savings

The LightMaster’s accuracy and functionality exceeds that of timers and photo controls. It offers true dusk to dawn operation and can achieve additional energy savings by adjusting light levels throughout the day or night. Additionally, Lightmaster offers an affordable solution for daylight harvesting. For large installations, up to 10 units (20 channels) can be connected to a single sensor. The integral light sensitivity adjustment provides a wide range of settings, making these units applicable for control of indoor and outdoor lighting as well as automatic awnings or shades. It features a delay setting to avoid nuisance switching - ON and OFF of lighting during intermittent environmental changes like clouds, lightning or headlamps.

Maintenance Savings and Convenience

The LightMaster Series is more reliable than photo controls and can save maintenance costs over time. Its quality construction and convenient installation features prevent the need for expensive lift trucks and crews typically used to replace failed photo controls installed on top of luminaries. The LightMaster Series controller can be mounted at a convenient level for programming - the sensor can be mounted up to 330 feet away from controller.

• 0-100 second delay adjustment to avoid nuisance switching from clouds, headlamps, & lightning

Sensor:

Light level sensor can be mounted up to 330 feet away from control unit

Individual sensors have specific foot candle ranges:

• Dark Sensor: LS2 – 10 to 1000 fc
• Transparent Sensor: LS1 – 0.2 to 50 fc
