Occupancy/Vacancy Sensors

Intermatic Wall Mounted Occupancy and Vacancy sensor models can monitor virtually any area within a building. All models incorporate passive infrared technology to detect human presence in a room. They monitor a specific area to detect heat generated naturally by people. When the heat is detected the lighting will automatically turn ON, then OFF again when the presence is no longer detected. These sensors are simple to install as many do not require a neutral wire. There are models to control both electronic and magnetic ballasts and all meet California Title 24 requirements.

IG Series

The IG Series Surge Protective Devices are designed for a variety of Type 1 and Type 2 applicatons. Type 1 applications include outdoor installations before service entrances and utility meter cabinets. Type 2 applications include installations after service entrances. CSA listed to ANSI/UL 1449 3rd edition, the IG series is approved for residential/light commercial services (AC power, telephone and/or cable).
